Written a year ago today, April 23rd, 2018 Meka Jackson finds out his late father has passed away in Nigeria (Revered Amb. Alex Chike Anigbo)

On the one year anniversary to his untimely demise “Dear Dad” revisits the pure feelings & raw emotions as capsuled on that very day into a conversation piece with his father, chronicling their estranged relationship and the ambivalence of regrets, internal family disputes and lessons learnt from all that is to transpire. The visuals capture moments from his trip back to Nigeria to bury his father and serves as a focal point for introspection and self therapy in dealing with the lost relationship they never got to have. Meka Jackson reveals all he wishes he could tell his father on that day. A letter that will never be read but a vow in inspiration to keep his name and legacy alive forever, vicariously!
