When you grow up in the hood, you’re exposed to different experiences that will force you to learn how to survive. Those experiences are situations where you’re put through unfavorable circumstances.
Hoodstar Red knows this all too well coming out of Savannah Georgia. The streets are not your friend and it also teaches you that sometimes your friends are not your friends in the world of a hustler. The song talks about the struggle and what comes with it, jealousy, envy, deception, enemies, hustle and death. Hoodstar Red and Joe Green also touch on their priorities and lessons they’ve learned.
